Scholarship Support Program
Minority FOCUS has been dedicated to empowering marginalized and underprivileged communities through education. The organization provides scholarship support to students from vulnerable backgrounds, including those from remote and rural areas, differently-abled individuals, financially disadvantaged families, and orphaned children. These scholarships aim to create equal opportunities for quality education and personal growth, enabling students to break the cycle of poverty and build a brighter future.
In the current year alone, 154 deserving students received scholarships to pursue their studies such as medicine, information technology, engineering, management, education, Law, Theology and other professional fields. Each scholarship not only helps students meet their academic expenses but also motivates them to achieve excellence and contribute meaningfully to society.
Over the years, FOCUS has extended support to more than 2,000 students, empowering them to pursue higher education and vocational training. Remarkably, over 50% of the scholarship recipients have been girls and women, reflecting the organization’s strong commitment to promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment through education. Through these continuous efforts, Minority FOCUS continues to transform lives, nurture potential, and build a generation of educated, skilled, and responsible citizens who can positively impact their communities and the nation.
